Thanks to a direct supply network with the main Italian and European slaughterhouses and collaboration with qualified intermediaries in the sector, FAR-PET is today one of the main collectors of by-products of the swine species on the European market, without neglecting other animal species, in order to provide an increasingly complete collection service for the various needs of its customers.

Far-Pet specializes in the marketing of by-products of the porcine species, but depending on market availability, it markets by-products of any species in compliance with reg. EC 1069/2009.
SERVICES FOR THE PET FOOD SECTOR
Far-Pet carries out the processing of by-products of animal origin, in full compliance with the rules and regulations of veterinary control bodies. Our quality system, certified ISO 9001:2015, allows the application of all HACCP standards in relation to the traceability and traceability of the product , hygiene and food safety throughout the supply chain. The absence of metal contaminants is guaranteed by the presence of metal detectors in the finished product preparation chain and the presence of chemical and microbiological contaminants is kept under control through analytical chemical and microbiological analyses.
COLLECTION REFRIGERATION AND STORAGE OF FRESH PRODUCTS
The supply of the raw material takes place with authorized and suitable means of transport at a controlled temperature. FAR-PET implements a daily exchange with the slaughterhouses in the area (weekly with foreign slaughterhouses), of packaging materials suitable for food, carefully washed and sanitized, in order to guarantee a safe and hygienic supply of raw materials.
COLLECTION, FREEZING AND STORAGE OF FROZEN PRODUCTS
The supply of already frozen raw material takes place mainly through the collection on the European slaughter market, the goods are presented in already frozen blocks or plates, transported on pallets and covered with polyethylene stretch film, according to the standards required by FAR-PET in contractual phase with the supplier.
STORAGE OF GOODS FOR THIRD PARTIES
Far-pet is in possession of a regular authorization to deposit cat. 3 in compliance with reg. CE 1069/2009, offering a service to other operators in the sector who need to safely store their products.
